Our client a leading Game studio in London is looking for a Senior Server engineer to join their super fabulous team.
 
A talented and adaptable server engineer with experience and
a passion for implementing and running backend services and tools for games/applications.

Essential SKILLS:
 Be able to create various
technical solutions an understanding of various backend mechanics.

Proficient  in Java/C# with good understanding of  OOD (object oriented development)

•Knowledge of NodeJS/Javascript.
•HTML5, Angular JS and CSS.
• Exposure to several AWS services.
• Good - Problem solver, debugger.
• Excellent time management
• in depth analysis skills
• Used Gradle/Maven
• Exposed to Java 8 and Spring Boot
• Worked with Redis/DynamoDB or other NoSQL databases
• Agile development experience.
• Experience with DevOps and TDD Culture.

Desirable Skills :
• Shipped mobile games in the capavity of a  server programmer.
• An understanding of the challenges involved in scaling services.
• Worked on multi platform products
• Functional programming / Scala
